MAKEFUL MARKET CONTEST (THE “CONTEST”)

Official Rules and Regulations

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. ENTRY IN THIS CONTEST CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THESE CONTEST RULES.

HOW TO ENTER:
No purchase necessary. The Contest begins on November 18, 2016 at 10:00 am EST and ends on November 20, 2016, at 5:00 pm EST. (the “Submission Deadline”).
To enter, visit the Makeful Market at the 2016 Seasons Christmas Show and sign up for the Makeful weekly e-newsletter through the contest iPads (the “Contest Entry”). Digital entries only will be accepted. Print or verbal entries will not be accepted. In the case that an entrant cannot submit a digital entry, a Makeful staff member can submit on their behalf.

One Contest Entry per person. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated maximum number of entries by using multiple/different names, email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that person’s entries and eligibility to win the prize and that participant will be disqualified from the Contest and, at the sole discretion of the Sponsor, any of the Sponsor’s other promotions.

Entries will be rejected if the entry form is not fully completed or if the entry is not received by the Submission Deadline.

ELIGIBILITY:
Contest is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec), who are in attendance at the 2016 Seasons Christmas Show, except employees (and those with whom such employees are domiciled) or agents of the Sponsor, its affiliates and their respective advertising and promotion agencies, and the contest judges. Entrants 13 years of age or younger must have consent from their parent or legal guardian to enter this Contest. In the event it is discovered that you entered without consent from your parent or legal guardian, all entries will be void.
Entries are limited to individuals only; commercial enterprises and business entities are not eligible to enter the Contest.

THE PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES:
There is one Grand Prize available to be won, consisting of a KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer (approx. retail value of $549).
The Grand Prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable or convertible to cash. No substitutions except at the Sponsor’s option. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize or a prize component with one of equal or greater quality or value. Taxes on prize may be the sole responsibility of the winners. If the winner is a minor in his/her province, territory of residence, such winner’s parent or legal guardian must accept the prize on his/her behalf.

WINNER SELECTION:
The potential Grand Prize winner will be selected based on a random draw, consisting of all eligible entries. Once initially contacted by the Sponsor, the potential Grand Prize winner has 72 hours (the “Prize Claim Deadline”) to respond and claim their prize. In the instance that the potential Grand Prize winner does not meet the Prize Claim Deadline, the Sponsor has the option to select a new potential winner. This process may continue until the Sponsor selects a potential Grand Prize winner who meets the Prize Claim Deadline.

The random draw will be completed and the winners contacted on our around November 25, 2016. If you have not been contacted by this date, you may assume that your entry is not a winner, unless the first potential Grand Prize winner does not meet the Prize Claim Deadline.
Odds of an entry being selected as the winner of the Grand Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:
By submitting in the Contest, you are opting in to receive communications from Makeful and you may opt out at any time.

No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected winners. This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws. Void where prohibited by law. The decisions of the contest judges with respect to all aspects of this contest are final and binding on all entrants without right of appeal.

Selected winners (or winner’s parent or legal guardian if winner is a minor) will be required to sign and return a standard Declaration, Liability and Publicity Release, releasing the Sponsor, prize suppliers, and their respective advertising and promotional agencies, and the contest judges, from any and all liability arising directly or indirectly from this contest, participation in contest related activities, the awarding of a prize, and the use or misuse of any prize.

By entering the contest, selected winners agree to comply with these official contest rules and agree to the publication, reproduction, and/or other use of his/her name, address, statements about the contest or other likeness without further compensation, in any publicity or advertisement carried out by the Sponsor in any manner whatsoever, including print, broadcast, or digital.

The Sponsor, it’s advertising and promotion agencies, and the contest judges are not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, or delayed entries. Without limitation, the Sponsor, its advertising and promotion agencies, and the contest judges will not be liable for the failure of any entry to be received.

The Sponsor reserves the right to withdraw or amend this contest in any way, in the event of an error, technical problem, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor that interferes with the proper conduct of this contest as contemplated by these Rules. Any attempt to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of this contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or suspend this contest in the event of any accident, printing, administrative, or other error of any kind without prior notice or obligation.

By entering this contest, each entrant expressly consents to the Sponsor, its agents and/or representatives, storing, sharing, and using the personal information submitted with his/her entry only for the purpose of administering the contest and in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy found at www.bemakeful.com, unless the entrant otherwise agrees.
