Anniversary Garlands

Craftivism

Garlands can be created using any old scraps of assorted patterned card-stock laying around the house, and are an easy way to jazz up any party or event. For the banner I cut triangles out of various papers, wrote one letter one each, and then strung them up using heavy cord. The heart garland was made by punching hearts out of different papers with a heart-punch, and then sewing them together on my sewing machine. Easy breezy, and your guests will love it!

Materials

  • Assorted card-stock
  • Scissors
  • Heavy Cord
  • Heart-punch (or any shape you have lying around)
  • Sharpies
  • Sewing Machine
