A cheeky little nod to my one of my favourite hobbies other than crafting… Baking!
To begin this, I mapped out some shapes I wanted to use, then used markers and water to move the stain around to make the dye create a water colour effect. Because the fabric is non -woven poly, I knew paint would repell slightly not giving me the look I wanted, I turned to ink and markers to make it work.
After using water to push around the colour, I highlight and shadow again with markers and finish up with outlining in black!
1 cup sass, 2 cups useful and 1/3 cup adorable.
