This was created for my Grandaughter. Her Mom, who is our Designer for Thistledown Creations and I had an afternoon of shopping for new fabric… When she spied this piece it was love at first site! We then choose the co-ordinating fabric and the ideas were numerous. The top is quilting cotton and the backing is white Minkee. (a very soft poly that is used in our crib size quilts) This was our first trial at creating a larger quilt for older children, so that could still have their Minkee. We have designed and created 60 inch quilts so that they fit a single bed, as both our “models” are out of the crib/small bed size.
