Makeful Challenge: Cellphone Cases

DIY Marbled Cellphone Case

I love how simple this is and how spectacular the results are from using things you already have at home.

Materials

  • An old tupperware container
  • Water
  • A selection of nail polishes, preferably non quick dry
  • A toothpick, chopstick or plastic fork
  • Plastic Wrap
  • Nail Polish remover

How to make it

Step 1: Cover your work surface in plastic wrap

Step 2: Fill an old plastic container with water that is deep enough to cove the phone case when submerged

Step 3: Pour/drip a selection of nail polishes into the water, swirling as you go

Step 4: Take your plastic fork/toothpick/chopstick and swirl the polishes to start the marbling effect

Step 5: Carefully dip the back of the cellphone case into the water in a sweeping motion. Lift it out of the water and lay it to dry, nail polish side up on your covered work surface

Step 6: Let dry for at least an hour. Use nail polish remover to touch up any smudges you don't like.
