DIY Shoe Garden Planters

Love by Lynzie

Turn your old, unused shoes into quirky little planters that will add a lot of life to your space.

Materials

  • An old shoe
  • Spray paint
  • A plant + soil

How to make it

Step 1: Use running shoes (or any type- even a high heel or a boot!)

Step 2: Do this step outside or in a well ventilated area- Take one shoe, unlace it and spray paint it in any color you’d like (important: make sure none of the spray paint gets into the shoe)

Step 3: Plant the plant right in the shoe- it’s that easy! Since there is not a lot of drainage in the shoe, plants like jade, succulents and cactuses will work best

Step 4: Lace up your shoes and there you have it!
