The best part about this year’s Easter Egg hunt is that you’ll have to eat the cupcake to find the candy eggs! These adorable cupcakes were inspired by a photo I saw on Pinterest for Peeps cupcakes; I couldn’t find a recipe link but it seemed simple enough to try on my own! I started with my favourite Perfect Vanilla Cupcakes (from NatashasKitchen.com) and then stuffed the cupcakes with jelly bean Easter eggs and Easter-coloured M&Ms! Then I covered up the secret nest with green icing and put the Mama hen on top.
The best part of these cupcakes are seeing the surprised faces at the hidden treasures inside! Second best part? Eating the leftover candy before the Easter party!
