I got the idea for this apron when I found these cute shell appliques at a fabric store. Add in some gold glitter and voila! You’re a mermaid.

Materials

• Apron
• Glue gun and glue stick
• Shell appliques
• Gold glitter spray paint
• Gold glitter glue pen
• Disposable tablecloth
• Masking tape

How to make it

Step 1: Spread out disposable tablecloth and lay apron on it. Fold tablecloth over the top half of the apron and secure with masking tape.

Step 2: Spray the bottom half of apron with gold glitter spray paint. Let dry for about 30 minutes.

Step 3: Draw scales/scallop pattern with gold glitter glue pen. Let dry overnight.

Step 4: Remove masking tape and unfold tablecloth. Using the glue gun, glue the shell appliques to the top half of the apron.
