Seriously Delicious Champagne Punch

Tabler

I absolutely adore holiday entertaining! The evening I made this punch, I was hosting small gathering of friends and wanted to offer a signature libation that was SUPER YUMMY, pretty and festive. My favorite part of creating this recipe was when I saw the smiles on guests’ faces when they took their very first sip! I had to make a second batch, needless to say. :)

Materials

  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cups cranberry juice
  • 3/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 bottle champagne, chilled
  • 1 lemon, cut in quarters
  • Red sugar

How to make it

Step 1: Bring water, sugar, cinnamon sticks and cloves to boil in a small pot. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.

Step 2: While the mixture simmers, rim your champagne glasses with sugar. To do this, first rim the glass with lemon. Next, dip the rim in the red sugar.

Step 3: Once the sugar water simmering is complete, discard cinnamon and cloves. Cool to room temperature and pour into large pitcher. Add cranberry juice and pineapple juice, and chill until you are ready to serve. At serving time, add chilled champagne and pour into your rimmed champagne glasses.
