Makeful Challenge: Cellphone Cases

Water Colored Phone Case

For my cell phone case I decided I wanted a water color look to follow my current love for anything water colored and the soft and nature of water color painting. I also wanted this phone case to be unique and that could not be replicated.

Materials

  • Disposable water vessel
  • Warm Water
  • Nail polish (1-2, depending on the desired number of colors)
  • Plain phone case
  • Nail Polish remover

How to make it

Step 1: Fill a disposable container with about 2-3 inches of warm water.

Step 2: Randomly drop a little nail polish into water and watch as it spreads. Make sure with each new color you add that you add it to plain water. If you overlap colors the second color will not spread in the water as much.

Step 3: Slowly dip your phone case in the water and pat dry. If you are not happy with the results, use nail polish remover to clean the phone case and start over again.
