I live and work in Toronto as a freelance Brand/Marketing consultant and artist. I grew up in Alberta where trips to the Rockies inspired my love of wildlife. As a painter and designer, I work in a variety of media including oil, acrylic, watercolour, pencil and digital illustration. I am also the founder of lecolouring.com.
I have always wanted to paint wildlife portraits in a fresh, new and modern way! When I saw the photo of this cuddly creature, I dropped everything and started to paint. This whimsical painting combines paradoxical elements – classical and modern – which I hope reflects the rich, hybrid world we live in today.
