I’m pretty sure I wasn’t the only one immediately smitten with the Alexander Wang gladiator heels (and indeed all the gladiator styles that are around this season) when they hit the runway late last year, I knew straight away that I would trying my hand at DIYing something similar come summer. My first thought was to channel the high heeled gladiator version, but decided to go with a flat version for wearability.
Materials
- At least 5 yards of leather (or faux leather) trim
- Sharp scissors
- Flats
- E6000 glue
- 6 press stud buttons
- A multi hole punch tool
- Optional: some pvc or wire to stiffen the main gladiator spine
