Mason Jar Display For Sweets On a Stick

Creative Bag

I use mason jars on sweet tables to display sweets on a stick like cake, marshmallow and cookie pops. It’s easy to decorate glass jars to match your party decor. A wire grid lid and a cup of sugar keep the sweets in place!

Materials

  • mason jars
  • wire grid lid
  • paint (chalk, acrylic or spray)
  • cup of sugar

How to make it

Step 1: Paint the mason jar with the paint of your choice. I used chalk paint for these ones but you could also use acrylic paint or spray paint.

Step 2: Remove the jar lid and insert a wire grid lid. The grid will allow you to keep the sticks from falling into each other. You can spray paint the wire insert if you want to change the colour.

Step 3: Add a cup of sugar to the bottom of the jar. This will add a little weight to the jar and will also help to keep the sticks in place.
