It all started with the little birdhouse. I was determined to find a cute purpose for it. This a grape vine wreath, a bird and some floral sprigs- this is what happens. My favourite part is how fresh and bright it is!

Materials

• Grape vine wreath
• Floral wire
• Floral sprigs of any kind
• Mini birdhouse
• Paint for birdhouse
• Mini bird
• Ribbon or burlap

How to make it

Step 1: Paint birdhouse desired color and let dry.

Step 2: While birdhouse is drying pull apart floral so that you are only left with indidivual sprigs. Place them into the wreath keeping them all in the same direction. Make sure you evenly distribute colours and sprigs so the whole wreath looks full. Attach with floral wire every 3 to 4 inches. Add more sprigs on top to cover wire. Weave into wreath to attach it use hot glue.

Step 3: Attach bird to birdhouse with hot glue.
Make ribbon or burlap bow.

Step 4: Play with location. Where would you like the birdhouse to hang. Balance is key. Once you've decided use floral wire to tie the birdhouse in place. Then attach your burlap or ribbon bow where desired. Be sure to tuck in all lose wires and sprig ends. Hot glue will ensure they don't come lose.
Finally add a ribbon or string to hang.
