Makeful Challenge: Cellphone Cases from Popfizzcheers

Summer cell-fie

Popfizzcheers

Pineapples are the craze right now and what better way to jazz up your cellphone selfies than a pineapple palm tree luau cellphone case in one hand and a pina colada in the other! Our favorite part was how quick and reusable this DIY is. See below for steps on how to do this.

Materials

  • Cardstock

How to make it

Step 1: Cut out some 1" pineapples and palm trees or use some pre-cut confetti found in our etsy shop - Popfizzcheers!

Step 2: I used 8 pineapples and 3 Palm trees on the actual case. Arrange these in the inner side of the cellphone case however you desire.

Step 3: If you would like to make this a permanent case design, please skip to step 4.

If you prefer to not make things permanent, go ahead and carefully snap your cellphone into the case making sure not to tilt the case when doing this. You can do this by simply pressing your phone into the case one corner at a time. Tada! Not only will you be able to enjoy the summer themed case but you can reuse and create a new theme once autumn rolls around!

Step 4: If you absolutely love pineapples and want to see it all year round, then our next step is to adhere this onto the case. Use Elmer's Craft Bond Spray Adhesive and spray a light film on the inner side of the case on top of the confetti pieces. Make sure to spray about 6-8 inches away from the case and let dry before snapping your cellphone into the case.
